Laura Cassai is one of two 18 year old Masterchef Contestants. She is from South Australia and is currently a health science student. She lived in Sicily with her family when she was younger and her Nona is her inspiration. Her dream is to open an Italian style café or dessert bar near the beach in McLaren Vale. Laura made it into the Grand Final after beating Emelia in the Masterchef Semi Final.
