Andrea Farinha Masterchef Contestant is an 18 year old student from New South Wales. Andrea works at a Pizza restaurant and assumed ‘head chef’ in her household cooking for her family at the age of 11 after her mother suffered from heart problems.

Andrea is a self taught cook and is originally from South Africa, having moved to NSW when she was five. Her food hero is South African chef Reuben Riffel. She wants to start a five star restaurant in Sydney and is strong at cooking traditional South African cuisine.
